In every event on VoiceBoxer there can be up to 4 roles:
- Moderator
- Presenter(s)
- Interpreter(s)
- Audience Members
Moderator
The moderator is the role assigned to the main presenter. It can:
- Control the event (Start, Pause, End)
- See who is online and designate the speaker
- Interact with Video, Audio and Screensharing
- Interact via chat
- Select the language (to which she/he listens)
- Control the slides (when having floor)
Presenter(s)
The presenter role is assigned to the other people actively participating in the Web Conferencing. This role can:
- See who is online
- Request floor to intervene
- Interact with Video, Audio and Screensharing
- Interact via chat
- Select the language (in which she/he listens)
- Control the slides (when has the floor)
Audience member(s)
The audience members will passively participate in the Web Conferencing. They can:
- Follow the streaming and presentation
- Interact via chat
- Select the language (in which they listen)
Interpreter(s)
The interpreters help bridging languages with the unique VoiceBoxer virtual booth. They can:
- Follow the streaming and presentation
- Interpret
- Request the presenter(s) to slow down
- Switch microphone between interpreters
- Interact among interpreters via dedicated chat channels
