VoiceBoxer Connect enables you to continue using your regular communication tool (think Zoom, MS Teams etc.) and adds professional simultaneous interpretation in as many languages as needed.

There are three ways to use VB Connect:

  1. Connect to the meeting platform and VB Connect in the same browser
  2. Connect to the meeting platform via the desktop application and VB Connect via mobile phone
  3. Connect to the meeting platform via the desktop application and VB Connect via browser

NB! Please make sure to use a headset for listening in all cases to avoid double audio or echo.

1. Connect to the meeting platform and VB Connect in the same browser

1. Open the meeting link in a browser (we recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox) and choose the option to join the meeting in the browser. See below examples for Zoom and MS Teams:

2. Open the VB Connect link that has been shared with you in the same browser

3.  To participate in the meeting in your chosen language, choose the language from the VB Connect page

4. Make sure to MUTE the meeting platform audio to avoid double audio (don’t worry, your microphone will function). To mute, right-click on the meeting tab and choose “Mute Site” (below example with MS Teams open in Chrome browser)

2. Connect to the meeting platform via the desktop application and VB connect via mobile phone

  1. Open the meeting link in your computer desktop application
  2. Open the VB Connect link in your mobile phone browser (we recommend Safari app on iPhone and Chrome app on Android)
  3. Mute your computer sound (don’t worry, your microphone on the computer will still function) and listen to the language you wish from your phone. Make sure to use a headset to listen to the interpretation on your mobile phone.

Alternatively, you can also use the VoiceBoxer mobile app and enter the event key shared by the organizer.

3. Connect to the meeting platform via the desktop application and VB Connect via browser (Windows).

  1. Open the meeting link in your computer desktop application
  2. Open the VB Connect link in the browser (Google Chrome & Mozilla Firefox recommended)
  3. Mute the meeting app via Windows “Volume Mixer” -> Right-click on the speaker icon on your taskbar and “Open Volume Mixer”, see below 👇
